Omg it’s the new year, and we are 4 months in. Trust me, I am not sure how the time is flying so fast. Like it was yesterday when I was sitting in my warm jumper and eating salted peanuts.
We also celebrated Holi in March, and we had so much fun. I made Gujiya, which are deep-fried pastries that have a sweet filling.
I feel like this year is starting off strong. I have created a bunch of video content, and I finally got to do the solo trip to my favorite place. For context, it’s a famous temple where I usually go with my family. I always wanted to go solo there.
I am also looking forward to all the travel that’s gonna happen this year. I will be attending at least 4 events/conferences this year, which is cool. One of them could be outside of India. Omg I am so excited already!
What am I doing these days?
I just wrapped up the collaboration I did with The SEO Community. It included 4 YouTube Short videos and one long YouTube video, and an article that sums all of them up. The theme was SEO and Product-led growth. The topics include what product-led growth is, what aha moments are, how to get started with PLG, how to find an SEO consultant, and an audit of The SEO Community website. My siblings and I had so much fun shooting them. And don’t worry, I paid them for their time, haha.
I am also making more short videos on my YouTube channel. I created this series called “Questions I want to ask Google”. These videos have two characters, a curious SEO and a sassy Google. The SEO comes with a question, and Google answers it (in a sassy way). Shoutout to my siblings because shooting these videos would not be possible without their help. I have 3 videos on the series so far. I have received good feedback on it and will continue making more funny videos like this that teach something.
Apart from this, I am trying free trials and freemium versions of SaaS tools. I am realizing how much friction there can be during onboarding, and especially when you’re cancelling the tool’s subscription.

What kind of content am I watching/reading?
My YouTube feed is full of food and F1 videos. Speaking of F1, I am starting to understand the races a little bit more. It’s also the first time that I can recognize and name all the F1 drivers for this year. I support Max Verstappen, and the current landscape of F1 is… weird? I don’t understand much of it right now, but with the whole battery situation, it is definitely interesting to see how the races are happening.
Speaking of F1, I finally got to try the F1 KitKat bar. It looked so cool and tasted nice (probably because it was not made in India. Sorry, not sorry).
I haven’t been reading much, only the SEO articles and PLG newsletters.
I do occasionally listen to podcasts, though. Two Bobs by David C. Baker and Blair Enns is one of my current favorites.
Anything else that’s happening/ final thoughts
The last time I wrote this, I bought a laptop. Can’t believe it’s already been 7 months of me owning it! It is an HP Omnibook Ultra 14 if you’re curious. It is so sleek, and the touchpad is so huge compared to my last one. The only thing is that there are so few ports, and I sometimes get tired of Windows. So, I think my next laptop will be a MacBook. Manifesting ✨
